You can buy (or read in Kindle Unlimited) the Sparks series and the Old Town Trilogy on Amazon. Audiobooks are available on Audible. All my books are published exclusively through Amazon so you won’t be able to purchase them elsewhere.
The Sparks series has 4 books in it and they should be read in order – The Sky Riders, The Rider’s Quest, The Immortal Rider and The Rogue Rider. The novella Sky Riders: Origins contains 3 prequel stories. While it can be read before reading the Sparks series I would recommend reading it after The Sky Riders (book 1).The Old Town Trilogy has 3 books in it and they should be read in order – Swirls of Magic, Ruin of Monsters and Clan of Mages. The novellas Red Smoke and Hoard of Secrets are prequels and while they can be read any time, I would recommend reading them after Swirls of Magic (book 1).
The Sparks series is YA fantasy and is suitable for readers from age 13+. There is a lesbian love story in the series which is sweet, not spicy. As the series is epic dragon rider fantasy it also includes battle scenes but these are not gory.
The Old Town Trilogy is YA fantasy and is suitable for readers from age 16+. It’s an urban fantasy with dark magic and monsters (think Stranger Things level of monsters). And it includes magical substance abuse and some gory scenes. There’s no spice.
Both my Sparks series and the Old Town Trilogy are full of inspirational female characters.
The Sparks series has an almost exclusively female cast and the main character is Aimee Wood. She’s been an outcast her whole life and is desperate for somewhere to belong. She’s shy but fierce and determined.
The Old Town Trilogy centres around Isla Campbell and her family, who she’d do anything for, even if it’s illegal. She’s bold and ballsy, definitely a troublemaker, but her heart’s in the right place.
The first book of my Sparks Series, Swirls of Magic, has been a category best seller on Amazon several times in the UK and Australia, and reached a high of #2 in the USA. The series as a whole has received over 2,500 5-star reviews (as of October 2026).Swirls of Magic, the first book in my Old Town Trilogy has been a category best seller on Amazon several times in the UK.
